It may be used to prevent breathing problems caused by exercise. Ventolin inhaler is used to prevent and treat wheezing, shortness of breath, and troubled breathing caused by asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, and other lung diseases. It works by relaxing and opening air passages in the lungs, making it easier to breathe. SIDE EFFECTS that may occur while taking this medication includes tremor, nervousness, shakiness, dizziness, excitement, headache, difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep, nose bleed, increased appetite, upset stomach, vomiting, stomach pain, muscle cramps, cough, dry mouth and throat irritation. |
