Clemastine Application: For intake: a urticaria, a serum disease, a hemorrhagic vasculitis, a rhinitis (allergic, vasculomotor), a pollinosis, a dermal itch, pruritic dermatoses, contact dermatitises, an eczema (acute, chronic), an acute iridocyclitis, a medicinal exanthema, the allergic reactions caused by stings of insects. For parenteral application: a Quincke's disease, an anaphylactic or anaphylactoid shock (complex therapy), prophylaxis of allergic and pseudo-allergic displays (application of radiopaque agents, a hemotransfusion, introduction of Histaminum).

Clemastine Contraindications: Hypersensitivity, children's age till 1 year (syrup) or till 6 years (tablet), pregnancy, a feeding a breast.

Clemastine Restrictions to application: the Angle-closure glaucoma, a constrictive stomach ulcer, the obstructive phenomena in pyloric and duodenal departments of the GASTROINTESTINAL TRACT or in the field of nick of a bladder, a prostatauxe accompanying with infringements of an emiction.

Clemastine Application at pregnancy and a feeding a breast: It counterindicative at pregnancy. For the period of treatment it is necessary to stop thoracal feeding.

Clemastine Side effects: about the sides of nervous system and sense organs: a sedation, delicacy, sensation of weariness, block, a headache, a giddiness, a sleepiness, infringement of coordination of movements, it is rare - stimulating action (routinely at children): anxiety, an acrimony, exaltation, a nervousness, a sleeplessness, a hysteria, euphoria, a tremor, cramps; a paresthesia, a neuritis, misting of vision, a diplopia, an acute labyrinthitis, a sonitus. From the side of bodies of the GASTROINTESTINAL TRACT: a nausea, dryness in a mouth, gastric discomfort, it is rare - a pain in epigastriums, a constipation, on occassion - an anorexia, a vomiting, a diarrhea. From the side of respiratory system: a condensation of a bronchial secret and difficulty of a discharge of a sputum, sensation of pressure in a thoracal cell, infringement of respiration, an obstruction of a nose. From the side of cardiovascular system: a hypotension (is more often at older persons), palpitation, a tachycardia, an extrasystole; Hemocatheretic anemia, thrombocytopenia, agranulocytosis. From the side of genitourinary system: very rarely - difficulty of branch of urine, an ischuria, an acceleration of an emiction, change of menstrual function. Allergic reactions: very rarely - a urticaria, a dermal eruption, at intravenously introduction - a short wind, a bronchospasm, an anaphylactic shock. Other: a photosensitization.

Clemastine Interaction: Will potentiate action of neuroleptics, alcohol, the sedative, soporific, narcosis and other drugs oppressing with the CNS, effect of cholinergic antagonists. It is incompatible with inhibitors (extend and strengthen cholinolytic action).

Clemastine Overdosage: Signs: At children - a mydriasis, absence of reaction of pupils on light, dryness in a mouth, a reddening of the person, a fever, a cyanosis, exaltation, hallucinations, infringement of coordination of movements, an ataxia, an athetosis, a tremor, a hyperreflexia, -clonic cramps, depression, oppression of cardiac activity and respiration (the lethal outcome is possible). At adults - oppression of the CNS, a sleepiness, a collapse, cramps, a coma. Treatment: the Induction of a vomiting, purpose saline purgative (at intake); symptomatic and a maintenance therapy: at a fever at children it is possible to use cooling rubdown, in case of a hypotension - introduction of vasoconstrictive drugs, for a cupping of cramps - Diazepamum or short-range barbiturates, if necessary - Physostigminum, the ARTIFICIAL LUNG VENTILATION; monitoring of the vital functions.

Clemastine Way of application and dose: Inside (up to meal) to adults and children after 12 years - 1 mg (tablets) or 20 ml (1,5 items of the spoon of a syrup) 2 times day (in the morning and in the evening), if necessary up to 6 mg or 120 ml of a syrup day; to children in the age of 6-12 years - 0,5-1 mg 2 times day. A syrup: to children of 1-3 years - 1-2 tea-spoons, 4-6 years - on 2 tea-spoons, 7-12 - 1 table-spoon. Parenteral: the adult (intravenously sluggishly) or intramuscularly 2 mg 2 times day to children - intramuscularly in a dose of 25 mkg / ¬?/??? in 2 receptions.

Clemastine Precautionary measures: With care to appoint to patients with a hyperthyroidism and diseases of cardiovascular system, including an arterial hypertension. For the period of treatment it is necessary to refuse the use of alcohol. Careful overseeing by children and patients of advanced age (sensitivity to antihistamine drugs is raised) is necessary. In the beginning of treatment it is not necessary to apply in an operating time to drivers of vehicles and people which trade is connected to the raised concentration of attention; further - the degree of restriction is defined by an individual acceptability of a drug.

Clemastine Special indicatings: It is necessary to exclude an opportunity / introductions. The ampullary solution contains ethanol. For prevention of distortion of results of dermal scarification assays on allergens, a drug it is necessary to cancel 72 h prior to allergological testing.
